The Belize Hotel Association (BHA) is pleased to announce it has partnered with Orchid Travel Network to implement a booking engine on its website in an effort to increase room revenues for member hotels. The Belize Hotel Association's website www.belizehotels.org can now receive online bookings from travel consumers. The BHA's website receives tremendous visibility, and the Orchid booking engine will allow for better sales conversion for this targeted traffic. Behind the significant amount of web visits daily are tangible sales leads - people who are trying to buy Belize travel services, but are unable to do so, simply because they are not being offered the option. New Features in Orchid ORS 1.5
Improved Room Chart in Inventory section with easier navigation. Good news for Firefox fans: Not only is the new Room Chart in the Inventory section Firefox compatible it actually performs better with this browser! There are new layout features that eliminate the need to scroll sideways as well as easier navigation.
Group Bookings Module
For those of you having to enter multiple reservations for group bookings now there is an easier way. With fewer steps you can enter multiple reservations belonging to a travel group as well as make provisions for discounted rates and travel agent commissions. All edits to bookings like rate changes are now applied to all individual reservations with one step.
Improved Reports Section The new and improved Reports section now has easier date selection on current reports and also include these new reports: - Sales Report - Accounts Receivables Report - Hotel Tax Report - GST Report - Service Charge Report All reports can now be exported to Excel!
